Default I need advice about sodium!

I have found that if I have more than 3500 mg in a day, I stall or gain. Also, the reccomended amount per day is 2500 mg. I can't find out a way to get 1700 calories with that litte sodium. For example, today for breakfast I had 40 g of cheese and a green tea. For lunch I had a chicken breast, wing, and thigh and salad (cucumber, lettuce, olive oil, and vinegar). For dinner I planned on having a steak, but that would bring me to almost 4000. I guess I'll have a hamburger. Any suggestions to reduce sodium? Is there anything that cancels out sodium like fiber cancels carbs? Also, is there any list on the Internet of how many grams of nutrients one should have daily? Thanks
