I like all kinds of olives (I'm half Italian after all) but the green are my least favorite because they taste sooo salty. I'll generally only eat them if they're already in the food someone else prepared. I like the Greek olives, but they are also too salty for me, so I don't eat them too often. I have an "olive dish" (a narrow long tray ) and I'll put several different types of olives in it with olive oil and seasonings and serve at a meal from time to time.

But black olives are another issue. I slice them and put them in just about anything. Scrambled eggs, taco salads, sandwiches (with lo carb bread), salads, or just revert to childhood and stick a pitted colossal olive on the end of each finger and nibble away!
