McDonald's and Wendy's, the other two largest burger purveyors, aren't biting on bunless for now. Spokesmen for both those chains, which have added entree salads and taken other steps to assuage customers' diet concerns, said Wednesday they have no plans to include bunless burgers on their menus.

umm so mc donalds handing out pamphlets telling people to cut carbs by ordering burgers without buns is umm what? I heard something else about wendys encouraging it too, but wendys has always been great when I order there handing it to me in a small covered plate with a fork and knife and everything on the side. No cheese on the cardboard like mc donalds.
