Dry skin is a deficiency in one of the oils, most likely. I'm a flax-seed oil fan; hate the taste even the thought of fish products. I take 10 capsules a day and sometimes more in the winter; if I take less, my fingers crack badly.

Personally, I'm not big in the purity problem. I get mine at Sam's Club.
