The aspartame thing....there is some ding-dong woman, can't remember the name, who is a protagonist behind aspartame bashing. There was a rampant e-mail chain letter thing going around a few years ago.....anyone remember? (My MIL kept e-mailing it to me....the one who is vastly overweight and eats HC/LF, never a SF cola. ) Anyway, she calls it "aspartame disease" and blames it for EVERYTHING. Cancer, weight gain, phases of the moon, schedule of the tides, dirty laundry, mice in the house, you name it. Had a website dedicated to it and everything.

Of course something to sell too.
