Lots of nuts are very low in net carbs, and very high in nutrition.

Good oils, and good minerals. Plus you get to do some hefty chewing, which I find to be very satisfying. Sometimes the very dense, fat foods we eat don't give you much chance to chew and work on the food you are eating.

Look up the specific nuts you are concerned about on FitDay or some other nutrient site, if you have doubts about the labeling.

Dr. Atkins was quite high on nuts and tended to eat quite a few himself. I believe his favorites were Macadamia, but I find that Pecans and whole Almonds are also very satisfying. Sometimes I like to eat Walnuts too.

Keep on, keepn' on!
