OhGal, it's interesting that you speak of sweets as an "addiction" and not just a normal part of life. I never really thought of it as an addiction, but perhaps I should treat it as one. In that case, I can see where abstinance would be the only reliable method of breaking the addiction. But doesn't everyone fall off from time to time (and I'm not making excuses or trying to share blame)? Do the addictions come back after you've been free for a while, or do they never really go away? I'll admit that it would be nice to be free of cravings.

Not sure how this bar will affect me. I woke up with no cravings, so I'm hoping that all will be well, and that ketosis is doing its job. I guess the scales will be the real test of it all.
