I've learned that when eating at Applebee's and Cheesecake Factory, I just tell them to hold the starch, and they usually pack steamed broccoli on my plate with the steak I order.. Its nice not to have to negotiate any longer over cheap starch for more expensive veggies. Thanks for the link Beer!
