I've found, aside from the fat and protein, that a good amount of veggies leaves me feeling quite full. Broccoli or cauliflower are more satisfying to me than salads, probably because they're cooked and hot... maybe that part is "mental"...
That being said, I've had to re-train my body to learn what "full" is.. like the others, I mistook "stuffed" for "satisfied".
