First ... my apologizes for posting such a loooooong article without warning that it was lengthily. I should have cut and paste the more readable portions, but I know one forum member was unable to get to the whole thing using the link ... so here we are.

Brobin ~ I hear what you're saying. One site Calories Per Hour tells me I burn 360 calories for my workout. That's the equivalent of 1/2 cup of my tuna salad! It's easy to go overboard with treats thinking you've been 'good'.

Marty ~ I think reading this monster does count as Extra Credit! I'm pretty sure all that Left-Right eye movement would burn a few extra calories.

The most active time in my life was spent at ~320 pounds. I never lost weight, but I sure felt great. Long years later when starting a LC WOL, I felt a new and different kind of healthy. Adding activity on top of that, and I'm feeling really good.

Exercise may or may not help me lose weight faster, but it certainly improves the quality of my life.
