I eat the steel cut oatmeal several times a week, with some protein powder and a little butter. I find that with the way I excercise, I can eat upwards of around 100 - 120 carbs a day. I actually felt better with the addition of carbs, I think it's the weight lifting. Oatmeal is the only grain type thing that I eat, though, and I will alternate oatmeal w/ flax cereal. I like the hot cereal in the winter (even though here in California it's not exactly a 'real' winter!)
