Yep, it's true that weigh loss is slow for those that don't have a lot of weight to lose. Low carbing is also good for general health in addition to weight loss so it is a great way of eating to follow even if you lose slowly.
Why don't you give us a sample of what you've been eating before you throw in the towel. You cold be eating things that slow weight loss.
