Hi, BLBM! And YES, you do eat a lot of fat on Atkins--that's why it works so darned well! The fat is actually part of what keeps you from being so hungry all the time. If you've ever tried low-fat/high-carb diets, you know the routine. Get up in the morning and eat that dry piece of toast with maybe a boiled egg. Within an hour you're starving, but you can't eat until snack time. Then at snack time you have either a piece of fruit or that low-fat yogurt, then starve until lunch, and the day just progresses! Then come 8 p.m. at night you're still starving, but you're out of calories and foods for the day. All the while your body's screaming for something to make it feel full. Well, this WOE gives us something to make us feel full, and that something is what fuels us as well!
