oatmeal mornings
After a week on Atkins Induction, I found I could not face another no-carb breakfast. After a week of induction, we were asked what we wanted most...my husband missed red wine and candy, but I was longing for a bowl of oatmeal and fruit.
I have gone to having 1/3 c. cooked oatmeal topped with plain yogurt and fruit , with a drizzle of creamo (half and half) for breakfast. The rest of the day is regular induction dining. If I keep losing weight, I'll settle very happily on that formula until I reach goal weight.
Since we added the oatmeal, the headaches, nausea and fatigue that dogged us have dropped away.
