If they could do it cheaply...they could literally produce an LC version of every sugary treat known to man..without having to resort to sugar alcohols as they do now. But, what I would really love to see is L-Starches. Since Starch is nothing more than a long chain of Glucose...I don't see why someone couldn't create L-Starches in a lab using L-Glucose. Imagine if they could make starches that when mixed in proper proportions with Gluten would bake just like White Flour, but would contribute ZERO usable carbs. That would literally revolutionize the LC Food Industry.

Even better yet would be if someone could figure out how to make Potatoes produce L-Glucose based Starch; Fruits produce L-Fructose; and so on...Do these few things and we could literally produce an L Version of every Carby Food. You could literally eat any food you want as long as it was made with L-Carbs and it would contribute NO USABLE CARBS.
