Sheri you’ve got the key point. Resting intervals between sets (1 min.). I too use solid cast iron dumbbells and find them very convenient. I don’t think I would be able to finish my workout in time if I had to continually change plates. If you do go for an adjustable set, get the kind that have a spring clip, so you can quickly remove the weight, and put your plates on a tree for easy access.
