fruit peels?
hi all-
i have a question: instead of having fruit, i really just like peeling the skin and eating that. i do this with apples and non-ripe persimmons. does anyone know if this is better for one's carb counts? are the carbs mostly in the fruit and not in the peels? do the peels contain mostly fiber? or is it still carby because of starches? if anyone can help, i would greatly appreciate it!
