In the Portland and Seattle areas at least is Franz 7-7-60 bread. 7 grams of carbs minus 3 grams of fiber, 7 grams of protein and 60 calories, this bread is about as inexpensive as low carb bread gets...albertsons has it for 2.49 a loaf, and the franz/gais outlet stores have it for 1.39 per loaf...It's not bad tasting...I don't like most LC bread, it often has a melted plastic, spongy quality to it..This bread is different, kind of tastes and feels like Roman meal..Not an artisan rustic gourmet loaf by a long shot, but at 4 carb grams a slice pretty wonderful to slap some meat onto.
And the price is so right! I'm so tired of spending 4.00 plus for a loaf of low carb bread.
