My own experience with protein is I lose better if I stay under 100 grams per day. I try to stay at 25% protein, 70% fat and 5% carbs because I seem to lose better at these percentages. This may not be the case for everyone. Some may be able to eat a lot of protein and still lose. High protein may or may not be bad for your health. All I know is I don't lose on high protein.
