Thought I'd post to you here instead of on the exercise forum.

Here's a link that you may find interesting. It's all about estrogen dominance, and yes, estrogence dominance will depost fat on the hips and thighs. Estrogen dominance has become almost epidemic due to the environment that we are exposed to.

The diet recommended by Dr. Phil looks pretty similar to the one listed in that link. I think the biggest reason it's LF is b/c conventional meats/dairy have estrogens in them. But their biggest push is for whole, unprocessed food.

I'm also taking DIM which is supposed to be better than soy. In fact, I've heard all kinds of controversy about soy. I don't think the experts know whether it's good or bad. There seem to be arguements on both sides. I've removed it from my diet after I tested extremely high for estrogen. I don't know that it's made any difference though.
