Cool Answer to debbiedobson's question

I'm following the Atkins plan. I used it 25 years ago just after my daughter was born, and went off it because a nurse friend told me it would damage my kidneys. I ran into a couple of friends I hadn't seen for a while back in June, and I couldn't believe how good they looked! They're on Atkins, and I remembered how easy it was for me to follow so I went back on it. I KNOW carbohydrates are lethal for me. I feel so much better and am so pain free in my joints since ditching them that it will take a huge amount of stress or upset for me to fall off the wagon. I have run into trouble with hidden carbs when eating out (sauces, etc.) but nothing major. Low-carbing has a tendency to be a bit on the expensive side, but I figure we'd all be paying big bucks to Weight Watchers or Jenny Craig or whatever, so I figure I'm worth it.
