Sounds to me like you're thinking of this as a diet, like the others you've probably tried in the past. It's not like that. Slow and steady is a really good thing. I think I lost only about 7 or 8 pounds when I started but it kept coming off gradually. Check my stats, you'll see it works.
Just think about how much more you would weigh now if you hadn't started LCing!
And we all have those fluctuations of gaining a little here and there. It's water retention from too much salt perhaps.
I know that numbers on a scale mean a lot to many people. But don't forget to consider also how you feel and if your clothes are more comfortable. The entire story is not always on the scale.
