I'm a constant drinker--am rarely ever without a drink by my side. I take it everywhere--to the garden, every room I go into for any length of time, in the car, so on and so forth.

And I like my drinks nice and cold, so I use one of those 32- or 34-ounce mugs you can guy at the local convenience stores. (Actually, I have several. ) I get up in the morning and the first thing I do is grab my mug, fill it with ice then water. That's generally gone before an hour's up, and usually by that time I want some Diet Rite, so I put a little of that into my mug and drink it over the next hour or so. By that time my ice is usually getting pretty melted, so I pop the lid off the mug and eat what's left of the ice (I can do that only with my ice from home because it has tiny air bubbles that makes it soft--boughten ice ends up hurting my teeth). Once my mug's empty, it gets refilled with ice and water again, and the process gets pretty much repeated throughout the day.
