It does work for some people. But in my case I cheated and gained 9lbs. It's more than 2 weeks later and I'm still not where I was. You never know how you will react to it. But if you try it I see nothing wrong with it. In the past you didn't gain so maybe try it. You might want to go over your menus and up your fat to 70% or more if it's not already there and keep your calories 10x your goal weight if you aren't already, and make sure you're not going over the carb limit.
