Hi Elaine:
i think that too low carb lowers my basal insulin so my BGs are running higher around the clock. i've already notice this. i'd range in 110-120 if i get more carbs daily (i.e 1/2 apple, 1/2 cup of berries, etc.). i've tried it already, the less carbs i eat, the higher my FBG. i still have to get my fasting insulin blood work done, too busy to get to the lab.
actually, my FBG is the only problem i have. all pp numbers are well within the range, and so is H1C. starting journal sounds like a good idea, just need to find out how to do it. is it the same as starting a new thread?
