Not sure of the reasoning others have for avoiding Iceberg Lettuce but I do because of the lack of vitamins and anti-oxidens as compared to spinach and romane. Iceberg is mostly water...I like to get more bang for the buck and mix romane with spinach for my salads. The greener the leaf the better the punch
