on the water question:

The body always trys to compensate for what is happening (homeostatis.)

The hormone ADH (antidiuretic hormone) is released when ever the body senses their is not enough water. This hormone works on the kidneys to slow down the excretion of water.

So, not enough blood volume (which includes water), will signal release of ADH and water release will slow down...

Bad: because you need to flush out unused ketones and other by by-products of metabolism.


solution: drink at least 64 oz of water per day...

That was it in a nutshell... theres more info about it... but I believe that should suffice for now...
