Humans should accept that we are top of the food chain. We have canine teeth. Only meat-eaters have canines. We also have molars - herbivores have molars. Nature intended us as omnivores. People who cannot accept what Mother Nature gave us are the ones who are not in touch... (just my 2c)
Sure, battery chickens and cattle being mistreated is not good. I don't think this is a reason to go to a polar extreme though...
And besides, what happened to freedom of choice? These folks can go vegan if they like, but they have no right to impose their value system/morals/ethics on me. I am an adult, I have my own opinions. If they don't respect me, I sure as hell am not going to respect them.
