Not really sure about the carb count... but i would say NO you didn't sabatage anything... it sounds like you did it the lowcarb way...
And onions aren't incredibly high in carbs... just trigger cravings for some..
I had 4 slices of PapaJohn's pizza... no bread... with cheese/ bacon/ onions/ mushrooms/ tomatoes/ green peppers... dipped in garlic butter ... over the weekend... and i am still doing fine..
It's gotta be liveable... ya know...
