Having worked in a restaurant, I've seen a LOT of things, but never yet seen anyone bring their own lunch.... I understand the need to accomodate a special diet, but most restaurants are very agreeable and can make a few adjustments or substitutions. After all, it's a restaurant, not a cafeteria. I also wasn't aware that a restaurant can get in health department trouble allowing customers to bring food into the restaurant, just like a bar being put in liscensing "purgatory" by allowing outside liquor to be brought in.

Most restaurants won't give you grief for a bottle of dressing or a few toppings, indeed if they even notice, but I think I'll just stick to making the best choices I can from what's offered. JMHO
