I'm not following Atkins, and I have yet to read his book, but I'm pretty sure he doesnt recommend skipping breakfast. The general rule is you need 10 - 12 times your body weight in order to lose weight. Being hungry isnt good, stomach cramps is definitely NOT good.
Maybe you should revist the book, and take a look at some of the Journals posted in here for an idea as to what everyone else is eating?
