Maybe the stuffed shirts in the government and certain self-styled experts/authors will never back down, but I'm sure there are corporations greedy enough to "follow the money" and provide the public with what it wants, both low fat varieties and a separate low carb product line... if three million and growing UK dieters want low carb snacks, combined with American low carbers, they'll be provided it even if the food manfuacturers don't acknowledge it as "Atkins". Let's hope any dreaded low fat-low carb marriage made in hell product line, if created, doesn't wrongly turn off too many dieter-wannabe's in wrongly thinking low carb wouldn't work just because low fat+low carb is miserable.
