There's a difference between diabetic type I and type II. My brother has diabetic type I and wouldn't do good on Atkins. There is a relation between weight and type II. That's why type II diabetics do Atkins. That's what I think. I do not know if the co-worker has type I or II.
It also can be that I am wrong about this. If anyone knows, please let me know.
