I didn't have any sugar at all for the first 10 weeks. I had my first "planned" Menu Variation (PC for cheat, lol) eating a DQ Blizzard with my partner last week. I'm allowing myself one meal per week (starting this week) where I can eat off-plan. The weight is coming off so slowly that my mental state has been wavering. I've lost 12 lbs in 11 weeks, none in the last 3. Since I've now been doing this almost 3 months, I've come to the realization that I won't be able to stay on this unless I can have one meal a week that I don't worry about. I did this the first time I lost weight and it worked very well for me. And made the rest of the week very doable. My experience is that it's one meal...not a downward spiral of cravings and slips. I don't allow myself more than that one meal. Now, the challenge is just to keep on keepin' on, regardless of that friggin' scale. At least it's not moving up.
