Well to me it looks like you have done SUPER GREAT with this WOE, and have nothing to fear.
Part of this is a lifestyle change, which means you should be able to travel with your grandma, visit relatives, go on vacation, and do whatever you would do in real life.
I don't see why eating low carb should put a halt to things you want to do.
Now if you don't really want to go, or have other financial reasons to stay home, that is different, and you will need to explain this to your family I guess and hope they understand.
Otherwise I say don't give food the power over you so that it affects what you do in life. You have overcome your addiction and you should be confident that you will make the right choices. Nothing stops you from getting your own groceries while you are there to stock up the fridge with the foods you need to have on hand.
