Hmm that's a hard one. I'd say go if you think you can avoid the food thing. If it's going to be be impossible, you do have a good excuse NOT to go, (work!). You don't have to tell anyone the real reason you don't want to go.

Guess it depends on how these people are. If you can simply telll them you're on a low carb diet without them going nuts on you, then go. If the whole 'vacation' is going to be nothing but a low carb debate, then don't bother.


You said that they're already on your case for not eating 'normal".. Are they the typical anti low carbers...? If all they have in their house is high carb foods, then you're going to be stuck eating them..

You could bring some low carb bars and other foods just in case they don't have anything you'd eat, but If they're low carb bashers, then you'll get stuck being lectured on how bad it is..
