I am a nurse and what i learned is that your BUN being elevated without creatinine being elevated is almost always a sign of dehydration.

I had mine done Bun was 11 and creatine 0.8 so your new levels are very similar to mine.

Doctors really start to worry when your creatinine or both BUN and creatinine become elevated.
