About 2 oz. of heavy (whipping) cream makes a generous individual serving. If you are looking for a taste that approximates Cool Whip or Redi-Whip (only better), you may want to add a bit of Splenda (1/2 tsp. of the granular) to your cream during the whipping. Very tasty!
