I used to be very prone to cold sores but haven't had any for a very long time (years?). I've been on Atkins since March, so I don't think the WOE itself is the cause; most likely it's an allergy of some type. I second what cs_carver said - examine what you've been eating to see if there's something you've added back that is causing the problems?
