In my experience, I haven't been thrilled, but if you run a search in the forums, there are several threads about coconut oil, and some people swear by it.
The refined has less or no coconut taste, but the virgin is supposed to be better. Supposedly, it depends on which method they use to process it.
I find it a tasty addition to my low-carb baking, but haven't seen any extra weight loss.
