Thanks!!! I do eat a lot of protein. I just find meat, nuts and oil to have much more calories than oatmeal and fruit. I don't measure my food, so my calories maybe an over estimate or maybe an underestimate!! I just know from low fat dieting, if I were to only eat 1300 calories as suggested by the zone, I would be grumpy and obsessing about food. Atkins I eat, but I am not obsessing or desire junk. When I saw the Zone recommended calories, I thought this made more sense for weight loss. I'm still caught up in counting calories. Old habits die hard.
