Hi. I actually have no clue about what the strips might indicate. Those things drive me nuts, to be honest.

And no, not many people run into too much trouble with Splenda, but it should still be kept to a minimum. The rule on induction is 3g a day.

Anyway, giving up sweets (or at least giving up maltitol and keeping Splenda to 3 packets a day) could really help wean you off the taste of it. You will probably be more successful in the long run if you start to appreciate other tastes more. Not to say we don't all like sweets, but I know I generally feel better when the majority of my foods are more savory. Keeps me centered around the idea that food is fuel, as opposed to a treat.

Anyway, a clean week would be good for you since I know you're anxious to see the scale do what you TELL it to. Plus it might kick start the engine and get you back in there.

Or you could ride it out and see if the weight is just coming off slowly. Either way.
