Great thread!!!! You are right, with cheating comes guilt, with guilt comes a sense of failure - and that is the beginning of the end for me! I am on strict induction, but it works for me. As long as I can have a big ole slab of beef, I am good to go. Not so for my partner. She is in a constant struggle to find foods she likes and does not tire of. But taking the initiative to do what you need to do is key to making anything successful. I like the way of thinking that eating something not on the plan is not a cheat, it's a frame of mind.
