For me, I absolutely adore cheese, ever since I was a boy. Usually, I have at least 6-7 oz per day, and it's never stalled me, not even during induction.

I remember there was a time when I got some really nice parmagiano regiano on sale at the local Italian grocer, and muched down a full lb in a single day. No weight gain, stall, or otherwise.

So, I think it depends on the individual. In my view, it's logical for you to try extra cheese--if you really like it--and see how you respond to it. If your weight loss is unaffected, by all means, eat and enjoy the cheese! If not, then limit it. Either way, it makes no sense to me to just limit it matter of factly simply because a limited few might have issues with cheese while the most of us are unaffected. Let's hope you're one of the latter!
