I think it's important to remember that those guidelines from the Atkins Center are directed at persons who are STALLED. That is ... 4 to 6 weeks of no lbs lost on the scale AND no inches lost on the tape measure. If you are eating lots of fat and the weight is coming off at a steady rate, then don't sweat it. You're not stalled, so don't try to fix what ain't broke The Atkins Center suggestions say if you're stalled, try cutting the fat back slightly. They don't say to go low fat or no fat.

And not all of the suggestions will apply to everybody .. they're guides only. Read through the list and mark the ones that might apply to you. Then try them ONE AT A TIME. Don't make a whole bunch of changes at once ... if your stall breaks, you will have no idea which tweak is the one that worked. If you drink 3 or 4 coffees a day AND eat a lot of fat AND eat dairy products, cheese, cream etc ... try cutting the coffee out of the picture first. If the weight loss picks up again, Yay!! you've found the problem.
