Thanks, ScotJan, it is the scales fault...(both of them).

I was feeling pretty good physically and emotionally until the scale didn't move and the "catty" remark last night. All right, I will give the scales a break and just do what I'm supposed to do. The other thing is to not compare myself. I think that pushes my buttons, too, when I focus on those whose numbers seem to move so quickly. I realize there are as many people in my boat as there are in the other.
