Thanks everyone for the support. This is a great support board. The nice thing about the 38s is I expecting them to be on the tight/slightly uncomfortable side, but they felt about right.

I have a couple pairs of 36 waist Levis hanging in my closet from long ago. I put them on last night. Was able to fasten them but boy did it hurt! Looking forward to wearing those, too.
