One of the cornerstones of ATkins is DO NOT COUNT CALORIES. I'm quite suprised to see so many people here doing just that.

Atkins faught hard to dispell the old myth of caloric input must be lower than caloric output to lose weight. So why put yourself under that old lie!!??

Just count your carbs and enjoy. If you are stalling or losing too slowly, then there are other things that you can try - raising the fats, fat fast, and I've heard about carb upload or something (I think it's having one out of control day and then getting strict with yourself again - please check before doing this, I'm not at all sure about it).
