Hi Tracy,
I realize all that but what causes the insulin in the blood is eating carbs (especially carbs that are high on the glycemic index) and almonds only have 2 carbs/oz and are low on the GI. That's why I can't understand why they aren't allowed during the first 2 weeks of induction. Also, why are they not allowed during the 1st 2 weeks of induction but ARE allowed if you stay on induction past 2 weeks?
