I got some great little 2 oz. Tupperware containers from Target, one of which I keep with the nuts. It holds an ounce of nuts when full to the top line (I did weigh it the first time,) so I scoop out my ounce of nuts and put the rest away. That reallly helps me avoid overdoing. A can of cashews on the counter would quickly be my undoing!

p.s. Those little Tupperware jobbers are also great for take-along salad dressing or cream if I'm going for coffee. No leaks. I guess Tupperware is pulling out of Target, though, as it hasn't been good for their direct sales, so time is limited.
